How does one discover the audio industry?
For me, it all started with Beca Mitchell in Pitch Perfect. Watching a female singer/producer find success on the big screen when I was a young teen opened up a new world.
Fast forward to today where I’m following the dreams of my youth, propelled by my female role models like Camila Cabello, Alessia Cara, and Taylor Swift.
From running a recording session to holding a microphone on the sidelines of a football game, I am invested in all things audio. While completing my degree in Music Technology at Capital University I worked in the campus television studio, radio station, recording studios, and mixing suites.
Not only am I a nerd for microphones and other recording equipment, I’m also passionate about broadcasting, television sets, film sound, songwriting, drums, and guitar.
